An initial consultation is 45 minutes and follow up consultations are 30 minutes, we also offer 15 minute Telephone consultations as a follow up.
The downloadable symptom checker is a great place to start, we would also need your full medical history and any medications your are currently on. Family history is also requested.
Our Menopause Specialist will take your medical history, discuss symptoms and lifestyle, conduct an examination as needed, and develop a personalized management plan, which may include HRT or alternative therapies.

Yes, a prescription is included in the appointment.
However, repeat prescriptions without appointments are subject to a £35 fee.
Yes, we will provide you with a letter for yourself and your GP. Consent to share information with your GP is required.
Blood tests may be necessary for diagnosis, treatment assessment, or monitoring. Discuss with our specialist during the consultation.
On the day of your blood test, please omit your daily dose of Oestrogel, Sandrena, Androfeme, Testogel or Testim. Your daily dose of medication should be applied after the blood test has been taken.
After the initial consultation, follow-up appointments are typically scheduled around every 3 months to assess treatment response.
Annual reviews are required for safe prescribing.
Once you are established on your HRT after your 3 month review many women find their GP are happy to continue with the prescription and take over the annual review. However, if you would still prefer to see us or your GP is unable to prescribe your HRT, we will then of course be happy to see you for your annual review.
