Course Objectives

The course is divided into nine comprehensive modules, each focusing on a critical aspect of menopause care:

  2. Medical Treatments
    Exploration of pharmacological options, including menopause hormone therapy (MHT) and non-hormonal treatments.
  3. Unscheduled Bleeding on MHT
    Understanding the causes, management strategies, and best practices for addressing unexpected bleeding in menopausal hormone therapy.
  4. Complimentary and Alternative Therapies
    Evaluating the efficacy and safety of non-traditional therapies and their role in holistic menopause care.
  5. Hormones & Depression
    Examining the interplay between hormonal changes and mental health, with strategies for managing depression during menopause.
  6. Risks & Consequences
    Identifying and mitigating the risks associated with menopause and its treatments, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
  7. Bone Health
    Strategies for preventing and managing osteoporosis and maintaining bone density in menopausal patients.
  8. Genitourinary Syndrome of Menopause (GSM)
    Addressing the symptoms and treatments of GSM to improve quality of life for affected women.

Assessment and Certification

Each module concludes with an examination that must be successfully completed to progress to the next stage of the course. A minimum pass rate of 90% is required for each module to ensure mastery of the material. Upon successful completion of all modules and exams, participants will be awarded a certificate with CPD Hours accredited by the CPD Group.
